The first thing I do when researching travel destinations is food & restaurant research. My intention is to eat my way through whatever town I am visiting. You could call me a food floozy, I wouldn't mind. Drool-worthy food photography gets my rocks off, I can peruse #foodporn for days. And viewing inviting cafe design & interiors both entice & excite me.

While my daily dose of caffeine is important, it's not the only thing I am addicted to. It's the ritual! People don’t only go to cafes for coffee and food, they come to indulge. When I research cafes & restaurants, I want to envision myself in these places doing what I intend to do; reading, getting creative, working, catching up with friends, socialising or just killing time, as well as eating amazing food! I want to see what they have to offer; cosy seating, inviting lighting, welcoming ambiance & of course fantastic food as the cherry on top. I’m not the only one who does this kind of research. Any culinary inclined patron or traveller will. So if I were a restauranteur, I’d want to be on top of that list! And do you know what gets you there, amazing imagery.

Your images are the only thing that can tell your story.
